Kunsthal Rotterdam
Deep in Vogue

Deep in Vogue is an exhibition created for the Rotterdam Kunsthal in celebration of Vogueing, the Ballroom community, and the history of this massively influential queer community. The typography used throughout the designs references Ballroom history, such as using Franklin Gothic, the same font as famed documentary "Paris is Burning" to reference categories, individuals, and moments in ballroom history.

The Exhibition was accompanied by a vogueing ball that used historic typography in combination contemporary fonts such as VJ Type's Voyage to reflect the communities' life, language, and character.
